The CLC Veterans Resource Center (VRC) provides information and support to Veterans, military members, and their families and community members. The Center is staffed by college staff, student employees, and volunteers and is open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and other times by arrangement.
The goal of the Center is to provide a welcoming environment for all who visit. The Center has, or can locate, information about veterans services, financial resources, military education benefits, scholarships, veteran and family support activities. The Center refers individuals to appropriate campus and community service providers. The Center also serves as an advocate for veterans and their families who are students and as a training and education resource.
The Center encourages students, or prospective students, who are veterans, military members or family members to contact the Center to be put in contact with a Veterans Regional Coordinator for information on their potential benefits. In addition, they can also arrange for priority registration (an opportunity to register early).
The Brainerd VRC is located in Room C226 and Room E114 on the Staples Campus.

Veteran: Any person who is serving or has honorably served in any branch of military service including Reserve and Guard units.
Veterans Family: Any person considered by the Veteran to be Family.
NOTE: These definitions are for CLC Veterans Resource Center use only. Various funding entities will have specific definitions of Veteran or Family of Veteran which must be adhered to for eligibility for benefits or support. Please consult with them directly to determine eligibility.
