Central Lakes College, in partnership with the Annie’s Child care and Learning Center, now offers quality childcare and learning opportunities on the CLC Brainerd campus.
Annie’s Child Care and Learning Center provides full-time child care for the children of CLC staff and students.
Mission Statement: Annie’s Child Care and Learning Center (ACCLC) is a unique center that combines quality child development programming with a nurturing and warm environment for young children.
Sound child development practice states that a child needs a place where he or she receives individual attention, is encouraged to be creative and expressive, is led to new discoveries about the world, and can enjoy quiet nurturing moments. ACCLC teachers are carefully selected based on training, experience and nurturing qualities. They use a variety of instructional tools as part of a flexible, well-balanced curriculum and receive continuing training on an ongoing basis.
