CLC names head volleyball coach

Central Lakes College is pleased to announce the hire of Michaela Laudenbach as its new Head Volleyball Coach.

Laudenbach replaces longtime Coach Jane Peterson, who is retiring.

“I am excited and honored to have been selected to take over the volleyball program at Central Lakes College. My mission is to prepare young women for success both on and off the volleyball court.”

Laudenbach started coaching JO volleyball in 2018 in Marshall, MN. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from Southwest Minnesota State University.

Laudenbach served as head volleyball coach at St. Cloud Apollo from 2021-23. During this time, she also coached club volleyball with Midwest Power Volleyball club (St. Cloud). She is currently enrolled at St. Cloud State University, pursuing a Master of Science degree in Sports Management and Coaching.

“Coach Laudenbach brings a strong coaching philosophy to the position – one that will resonate well with players,” said Greg Medeck, CLC Athletic Director. “Her ability to connect, inspire and teach should serve well as she begins the transition to new leadership of the volleyball program. I am excited to watch this team learn, grow and compete under Michaela’s direction.”
