Deaf Studies

Create real connections with CLC’s Deaf Studies program!

Open a whole world of connection and communication by learning American Sign Language (ASL)! ASL is not only a vital tool for engaging with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities, but it also offers a deep, rich cultural experience. By mastering ASL, students gain the ability to communicate across linguistic boundaries, develop new perspectives, and cultivate empathy and inclusion.

At CLC, we go beyond teaching a language – we create an immersive learning experience designed to help you succeed. Our interactive, hands-on approach includes dynamic classes, real-world applications, and opportunities to engage with the community. With small class sizes, personalized instruction, and a commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive environment, our college stands out as the ideal place for students to master ASL and prepare for careers in interpreting, education, social services, and beyond.

Whether for personal growth, career development, or making meaningful connections, ASL offers a rewarding journey of discovery.
