Music Department Presents “Prisms” — An Immersive Chamber Ensemble Concert

The Central Lakes College Music Department proudly presents Prisms, its annual chamber ensemble concert, on Tuesday, February 10 at 7pm, in the Bob Dryden Theatre on the Brainerd Campus.
This one-of-a-kind performance features woodwind, brass, and percussion chamber ensembles led by Dr. Jordon Goebel, Dr. Kyle Brown, and Dr. Jonathan Laflamme. Prisms offers audiences a rare and intimate listening experience through a circular performance format, with the ensemble surrounded by the audience inside the Bob Dryden Theatre’s traditional black-box setting.
By placing listeners at the center of the sound, Prisms transforms the concert hall into a shared artistic space, allowing audiences to experience chamber music from multiple perspectives—visually, spatially, and sonically. The result is an immersive encounter with music that is both engaging and unforgettable.
Admission is $10 for adults. This innovative concert celebrates collaboration, creativity, and the vibrant artistry of Central Lakes College music students and faculty.
