Clay Target team finishes 2nd in MCAC conference tournament
The CLC Clay Target team finished in 2nd place at the MCAC conference tournament Tuesday in Alexandria. This comes just after the team was recognized as regular season division champions.
At the conference tournament, CLC ended in a 3-way tie for 2nd place, breaking 410 out of 500. The tie breaker ended up being the team’s highest individual scorer. Lucky for CLC, Lance Klersy bucked the wind on his way to shooting the best performance in the entire tournament, breaking 93 out of 100 birds. Lance’s performance boosted the team into the #2 position. The wind made it a tough day for a lot of shooters with 40+ mph gusts, but the CLC team kept a great attitude in the face of great adversity.
