Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation names Jess Feierabend Post-Secondary Educator of the Year 

Central Lakes College Meat Cutting & Butchery Instructor Jess Feierabend has been named 2025 Post-Secondary Educator of the Year by the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation.   

He will be recognized at the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation Awards Banquet on November 21. Feierabend is also invited to participate in the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 107th Annual Convention in Anaheim, CA in January. 

“I am deeply grateful for this recognition and humbled to be selected among so many dedicated and talented educators,” Feierabend said. He was nominated by the Todd County Farm Bureau. 

 Cory Detloff, CLC Director of Ag & Energy and Farm Business Management, added “Jess has a real passion for helping students, both in the lab and on a personal level. He’s built incredible relationships with local farms and businesses, and this award is a reflection of the impact he’s making every day.”
