Student LifeHeppnerErichby appointment: Text 952-807-32791Weight Room Work StudyThe duties of the work study student employee include, but are not limited to the following activities: report any suspicious activity in the weight room, reporting policy and code of conduct violations, supervising all persons using the weight room, (spotting), wipe off all machines/equipment after each use, secure the weight room when shift is complete.

Work Study Employees are responsible to:
** Arrive fifteen minutes prior to the shift to open the fitness center and get it ready to use
**Check out equipment at the beginning of each shift to make sure it is in working order and not going to result in an injury to users,
** Review all written communication from the fitness center supervisor daily,
** Maintain awareness and knowledge of all policies and procedures of Central Lakes College,
**Verifv those utilizing the fitness center are current CLC students, staff, or faculty members, Assist (spot) those needing assistance with weightlifting activities, Stay in the fitness center at all times,
**Maintain an appropriate appearance at all times,
** Make sure the equipment is cleaned and the fitness center is secured at the end of each shift,
**Conduct functions check of all equipment on a weekly basis and report any malfunctions to the fitness center supervisor.

Expectations: Weight Room Work Study Employees must possess the ability to remain calm and observant throughout a wide array of situations, have strong interpersonal communication skills, work well with a wide variety of different clientele, and be able to handle all situations with courtesy and professionalism.
