How to insert a Youtube video into PowerPoint 2010

Go to the Youtube video you wish to insert

Click on Share

Embed

Uncheck show suggested videos when the video finishes

Uncheck enable privacy-enhanced mode

Make sure the use old embed code is checked

Copy the old embed code

 

Go into the PowerPoint

Click on the Insert tab

In the Media area

Click on Video dropdown arrow

Click video from website

Then right click and paste (to paste the video)

 

It should look similar to this:

Delete the quotations in yellow

And enter http:

The number 3 in RED change it to a 2

Then click insert

 

That will give you a black screen. Once you view the presentation it will show up in the PowerPoint.
