Observe society, lead change
Sociology is the study of how people interact, organize and influence one another within the broader context of society. Students in our Sociology Transfer Pathway explore the complexities of human behavior, social institutions and cultural patterns, learning to analyze how social, political and economic forces shape our daily lives. This pathway provides a strong foundation while preparing students to transfer seamlessly into a sociology bachelor’s degree program at Minnesota State universities.
Through this program, students develop critical thinking, research and communication skills by examining individuals, groups, communities and societies in all their interconnected complexity.
