When you finish the session, you’ll be enrolled at CLC with schedule in hand.

Spring Start Scholarships (Minnesota State Increased Access Award)
CLC will be awarding multiple $500 awards to new “spring start” students for the upcoming semester (beginning January 12, 2026).  Eligible students must demonstrate significant financial need based on the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and be enrolled for 6 or more credits for Spring semester 2026.  No application is required other than the FAFSA.

The scholarships are available to provide financial assistance to those who would otherwise be unable to afford to attend college and to promote educational equity.

Eligible students will be notified of award receipt by December 31st, 2025 via a revised financial aid award letter on E-services.  A waiting list will be maintained in case initial recipients fail to meet requirements upon the start of spring semester.

Spring Semester Begins January 12, 2026

HOW IT WORKS
• Apply at the event (or apply online ahead of time)
• Take the Accuplacer assessment (this generally takes at least an hour)
• Meet with an academic advisor
• Register for classes
• Financial Aid advisors will also be available
• Check out the campus

TO DO BEFORE ENROLLMENT EXPRESS DAY
These are not required prior to attending Enrollment Express, but it will make your day faster!
• If you have not applied to CLC, please visit the Apply Now page.
• If you have earned previous college credit at a Non-Minnesota State institution, please bring a copy of your transcript for review.
• Request that your final high school transcript or GED be sent directly to the CLC Admissions Office.
• Complete the Free 2025-26 Application for Federal Student Aid and send your FAFSA to CLC with the school code 002339.
