CLC earns three gold awards for social media excellence 

Central Lakes College has been recognized nationally for its outstanding social media presence, earning three Gold Awards from the 13th Annual Education Digital Marketing Awards. 

The competition honors exceptional achievement in digital marketing within the education sector. Entries from colleges, universities, and secondary schools across the country were evaluated by a panel of education marketers, advertising creative directors, and marketing professionals. 

CLC received top honors in its size category for Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, highlighting the college’s creativity and connection with students and the community across multiple platforms. 

“Our goal is to showcase the heart of CLC — the people, programs and stories that make this college such a special place,” said Jessie Perrine, CLC’s Communications Coordinator. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see that work recognized on a national level. These awards reflect the creativity and collaboration that happen across our campus every day.” 

The Education Digital Marketing Awards celebrate the innovative ways education professionals share information and engage audiences through websites, digital content, email, mobile media, and social media. This year’s winners reflect the creativity, strategy, and dedication driving digital communication in higher education today. 

With over one thousand entries received, awards were distributed as follows: 

  • Gold awards were presented to 229 institutions.
  • Silver awards were given to 139 institutions.
  • Bronze awards were granted to 79 institutions.
