Verse Like Water kicks off 12 season

The community is invited to attend the premiere event of the 12^th year of Verse Like Water: The visiting poet program of Central Lakes College, happening at noon on Sept. 27 in the Chalberg Theatre, Brainerd campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Featured will be poets Valzhyna Mort (Belarus), Ilya Kaminsky (Odessa Ukraine), and Nikola Madzirov (Macedonia). Audience members will hear what these poets from Eastern Europe have to say about a troubled, war-torn part of the world through reading and conversation. A book signing and craft talk will follow.
