The Central Lakes College Art Department is excited to host the work of featured artist Ryan Myers. The opening reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 in the Art Gallery, room E422 (near the library), Brainerd campus. Refreshments and snacks will be available.
Myers will display some of his functional ceramics and ceramic sculptures. The Wisconsin native has been a practicing artist for more than two decades. His work is influenced by toys, Latin American ceramics, architecture, and our relationship with the environment. Much of Myers’ work is a mixture of both functional and sculptural elements, a delicate balance between the two.
The gallery is open from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Myers’ work will be featured from Feb. 28-March 20. This exhibition is free and open to the public.
