Judy Barka joins AgCentric as project manager. Barka will focus on social media, secondary relations and project management within the AgCentric.
AgCentric is a MnSCU Center of Excellence in Agriculture made up of three colleges: CLC, Ridgewater College and Northland Community and Technical College. AgCentric works to develop and deliver the latest and most advanced agricultural knowledge and training in the region.
Before joining AgCentric, Barka has held the following roles: Meeker Memorial Hospital Volunteer Coordinator and Foundation Assistant, independent assessor, co-owner of Forest City Land and Cattle, and is a former non-profit agency director.
She is also a past president of the Minnesota FFA Alumni Association. Barka is a MARL – MN Agriculture and Rural Leadership Program graduate and has served on the Minnesota FFA Foundation Board of Directors.
Barka and her husband, Randy, who is instructor at the Ridgewater Ag Department, have four children actively involved in the family farm. They are proud grandparents of three grandchildren.
