TheCLC Music Department will present it’s 2014 Winter Concert, “Frozen
Fantasia” on Tuesday, February 25th at 7:30 in the Chalberg Theater.
The Woodwind Ensemble, under the direction of Chris Bolstad, and the
Brass Ensemble and Jazz Band , under the direction of Steve Anderson
will perform a variety of music written for the three types of groups.

The Woodwind group will perform various dance forms( all while seated)
the brass group will perform movements from a Brass Choir collection, an
anthem from a Church collection and a tribute to a University of
Minnesota band director written by a well known Minnesota composer. The
Jazz Band will feature familiar rock and funky adaptions for jazz big
band as well as swing and jazz ballads.

Members of the groups range in age from high school juniors and seniors
to just seniors. members drive from a 60 mile radius for rehearsals on
Monday evenings.

The concert is Free to children 12 and under and CLC students with
I.D. Admission to all others is $5.00 There is no reserved seating for
