The Central Lakes College volleyball team defeated Hibbing in three straight sets Wednesday in North Division play. Freshman hitter-seter Abbi Knutson (left) of Watkins notched 37 set assists and freshman middle hitter Carlie Sweet of Brainerd knocked out 12 kills as the Raiders swept, 25-18, 25-21, and 25-19. Sophomore hitter-setter Melissa Widman of Blaine added 10 kills and 11 digs. CLC Coach Jane Peterson said: “We were confident and prepared for our first division match. We haven’t always been so confident and prepared. We had a good offensive game, which was not what I expected.
