The Central Lakes College Alumni Association invites all alums to attend homecoming events at CLC beginning Friday, Sept. 20 and continuing through Saturday, Sept. 29. The Raiders homecoming volleyball game against Hibbing begins at 6:30 p.m. with complimentary admission, popcorn, and a soda for alumni who check in at the alumni table. Raider volleyball alumni will be introduced between games. After the game, a social time will take place at Roundhouse Brewery. Raider fans of all ages are welcome!
On Saturday, Sept. 21, alumni baseball and softball games will be played at noon (softball) and 3 p.m. (baseball). Contact Coach Brian at brian.voight@clcmn.edu or Coach Ray at raymond.austin@clcmn.edu for more information.
On Saturday, Sept.28, the Raider football team will host a homecoming game vs. Fond du Lac. Game time is 1:30 p.m. at Don Adamson Field with tailgating beginning at noon in the adjacent parking lot. Brats, burgers, and soda available. Admission to the game is complimentary for alumni who sign in at the alumni table. Raider football alumni will be introduced at halftime. Alumni are invited to a social afterward at Jack Pine Brewery’s “Jacktoberfest” where a CLC Food Pantry fundraiser will take place.
“These events are a fun way for us to invite alumni from the past 81 years back to campus,” said Jana Shogren, CLC Foundation and Alumni Association Director. “Whether you attended Brainerd or Staples Tech, BJC, BCC, or CLC, you are a part of our alumni association and we want to see you back on campus to cheer on the Raiders and reconnect with old friends this week.”
