Community invited to The Night Out

Community members are invited to The Night Out, an annual event that directly benefits Central Lakes College students, from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Aug. 29 at the Northern Pacific Event Space.

“This event is a meaningful way for us to kick off our academic year and raise funds for projects that will benefit our students,” said Jana Shogren, Director of Resource Development & the CLC Foundation. “Proceeds from last year’s event helped to serve a portion of the more than 1,500 students who accessed our campus food pantries, assisted with emergencies that may otherwise have kept students from attending class, and funded more than 10 innovative projects to serve our students better.”

Hosted by the CLC Foundation, The Night Out will feature: Heavy appetizers paired with beverage selections from Jack Pine Brewery, Roundhouse Brewery, Fulton and Cashwise. Attendees will also enjoy live music, a brief program and a silent auction highlighting the best of CLC and our community.

“We encourage the community to out enjoy this event and learn more about what is happening at CLC,” Shogren said.

Tickets are $50 and available at clcmn.edu/thenightout. A special thanks to the following event sponsors: Bremer, Widseth Smith Nolting, Roundhouse Brewery, Prairie Bay, Fulton, Clow Stamping, CTC, Jack Pine Brewery, Cash Wise, Goldleaf Partners, Breen & Person, Essentia Health, Sourcewell and Frandsen Bank & Trust.
