Winter music advisory! The CLC Music Department Brass n’ Jazz concert, under the direction of Steve Anderson, will be presented on Tuesday, Feb 14th at 7:30 p.m. in the Chalberg Theater. Featured will be music from Bach, to Chicago Jazz, to a theme from a movie you’ve probably never heard of, played by the CLC Brass Ensemble. The Jazz Band will warm up the mid-winter atmosphere with Swing, Latin and Funk played in festive Big Band style. Admission to the concert is $5.00 with CLC students, and children 12 and under will be admitted free of charge. There is no reserved seating.
Membership of these groups is open to community and student musicians with people from several surrounding communities braving weather and traffic to participate in these groups. The Jazz Band is in its 26th year at CLC and the Brass group is in its 22nd. Come join us for an evening of music and fun with the gang at CLC.
