Nominations sought for Educator of the Year Award for Excellence in Teaching

Everyone is invited to nominate a Central Lakes College educator for the upcoming MnSCU Board of Trustees Educator of the Year Award for Excellence in Teaching.

This award is an honor bestowed upon Minnesota State Colleges and Universities faculty to acknowledge and reward exceptional individual professional accomplishment and to encourage ongoing excellence in teaching.

“CLC has been fortunate to have so many wonderful, caring, engaged and outstanding faculty in its ranks. Indeed in recent years, several of our faculty have been successfully recognized through this award,” said Dave Hietala, interim vice president of Academic and Student Affairs at CLC.

All CLC nominees must be currently full-time, hold unlimited faculty status, and must have at least three years of full-time teaching service at CLC. Nominators can be any of the following: faculty colleague, administrator, student, staff member, alumni or community member. Faculty may not self-nominate.

To nominate a CLC faculty member, email Dave Bissonette at dbissonette@clcmn.edu and request a nomination form.

Nominations are open now through Friday, Oct. 23.
