VIRGINIA — Lindsey Monson pounded 17 kills and Tiffany Hartung notched 43 set assists as Central Lakes College defeated Mesabi Range, 3-1, in Northern Northern Division Minnesota College Athletic Conference volleyball Friday. “For the first time in a long time we struggled offensively,” said Raider Head Coach Jane Peterson. “It wasn’t a beautiful win, but by the end our energy came through.” Carlie Sweet led the team in blocks with 10, while Sarah Miller contributed 22 digs for the Raiders. The Raiders are ranked sixth in NJCAA Division III.
