The Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center and Brainerd Community Theatre present the play Winter Wonderettes, by Roger Bean, at the Dryden Theatre on November 15-18, 2023. This seasonal celebration finds the four Wonderettes – played by local actors Abby Pratt, Abi Swenson, Esme Pool, and Maren Martin – entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. When Santa turns up missing, the girls use their talent and creative ingenuity to save the holiday party! Featuring great ’60s versions of holiday classics such as “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” and “Winter Wonderland,” this energetic and glittering holiday show is a delight for audiences of all ages.
Directing and choreographing the production is Amy Borash. Musical direction by Koreann Martin. Stage management and technical support by Travis Chaput, Jacob Beckman, Kenzie Pratt, and Cora Starns. Winter Wonderettes performs at the Dryden Theatre at Central Lakes College in Brainerd on November 15-18 at 7:00 PM, as well as 2:00 PM on November 18. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $10 for those under 18, and $5 for CLC students. Tickets can be purchased at www.clcperformingarts.com or by calling the Box Office at 218-855-8199, Tuesday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
