The Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center is thrilled to welcome the Ronstadt Revue to Brainerd on September 16, 2023 at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts. The Ronstadt Revue marks the inaugural presentation of the CLCPAC’s 2023-2024 Cultural Arts series.
The Ronstadt Revue, led by the exceptionally talented Gesenia, pays homage to the iconic Linda Ronstadt, an 11-time Grammy winner who captivated hearts worldwide with her versatile voice and distinctive musical style. With over 100 million albums sold spanning across genres such as country, rock, Latin, Motown, and Broadway, Linda Ronstadt remains an enduring musical legend. Although she has retired from public performances, the Ronstadt Revue ensures that her musical legacy lives on.
The Ronstadt Revue is renowned for its meticulous attention to detail and authenticity. Their performances are a journey through Linda Ronstadt’s 40+ year career, covering every musical genre she embraced. From English to Spanish, their renditions are as diverse and captivating as the artist herself. It is no wonder that the Ronstadt Revue’s renditions are endorsed by none other than Linda Ronstadt’s own band members. Two of her former band members are actively co-producing and contributing to the upcoming Ronstadt Revue album, and John Beland, a member of Linda Ronstadt’s band, graces the stage with the band at select shows across the nation.
