Three CLC nursing students surprised in class with scholarships

Four Central Lakes College Nursing students received a surprise in class this week: Three representatives from the 40 et 8, American Legion walked in the door with a $500 scholarship for each of them.

Each of the following students was awarded a $500 scholarship from American Legion Posts 255 and 443, and the 40 et 8.

Kayla Roering, Shelby Smith and Taylor Traut.

The scholarships are awarded to a RN or LPN nursing student each year. Students apply for the honor, and the 40 et 8 choose the winner.
