Students and the community are invited to an informational meeting about two Central Lakes College travel study opportunities: Thailand and Guatemala.
The joint informational meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23 in room E362, Brainerd campus. To find the room, enter door No. 11 and turn left.
There will be a brief presentation on each of the trips, followed by a chance for attendees to ask questions. The Guatemala trip is scheduled for March 2018. The Thailand trip is in May 2018.
“Travel studies are a great growth opportunity and they’re just plain fun,” said CLC Geography instructor Michael Hopps. “You learn a lot of the background information before you go and when you see the country in person, you understand the land and the people even better. You gain a deeper appreciation for a new culture.”
