CLC student places in state welding competition

IMG_4421Central Lakes College student Trevor Brausen placed 2nd in the SkillsUSA state welding competition last week in Anoka.

Brausen, of Pierz, competed in six different categories. In each category, students had 40 minutes to fabricate a weldment from a blueprint. Each weldment used a different welding process.

“I am very proud of Trevor and his performance at SkillsUSA,” said David Otto, CLC welding instructor.
