CLC to hold special Leap Year Concert

Central Lakes College will hold a special Leap Year Concert featuring the CLC Woodwind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble and the CLC Jazz Band.

Held at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 29 in the Chalberg Theatre, Brainerd campus, the evening will feature various musical styles and moods.

The Woodwind Ensemble features several performances by small groups within the ensemble. The Brass Ensemble will feature Bach, Bliss, British classics and bombastic trombones. The CLC Jazz Band will round out the evening with a mix of contrasting styles of swing from Dizzy Gillespie to Woody Herman and Duke Ellington, with the added attraction of a female chanteuse.

Admission is only $5 for adults, with children 12 and under and CLC students with I.D. admitted free of charge.
