CLC Outstanding Educators

Two Central Lakes College instructors are nominated for Outstanding Educator awards bestowed each year by the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Julie Morgan, Dental Assisting, and Nathan Peterson, Robotics/Automated Systems, are now eligible for the Educator the Year award.

The award is an honor bestowed upon Minnesota State Colleges & Universities faculty to acknowledge and reward exceptional individual professional accomplishment, and to encourage ongoing excellence.

On April 23, 2014, the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities’ Board of Trustees will honor 30 outstanding educators who teach at 17 colleges around the state. The board will also announce selection of its 2014 Educators of the Year.
The Outstanding Educator designation by their presidents reflects the exceptional commitment that each of the nominees have demonstrated in teaching, in their continuous professional development, and in their service to students, the college, profession, and the MnSCU system.
