Anderson Brothers Construction Company of Brainerd has informed the City of Brainerd that work on College Drive will begin as early as Monday, April 29, 2013 to finish the landscaping, irrigation, turf establishment, and final clean up on this project.
Motorists are asked to proceed cautiously through the corridor as lane closures may vary each day. Please watch for pedestrians and construction workers in the roadway during this process.
Work is planned to begin in the early morning with sweeping of the salt and sand that was deposited on the boulevards and roadway this winter. Lane closures will be set up to accommodate this work. Tree planting and placement of the irrigation system is planned to follow this work. This work is planned to last about 5 to 6 weeks to mid June.
The work zones will include the area from County Road 48 on the West to Quince Street on the East. It is anticipated that access to the side streets in this area will remain intact, with temporary disruptions possible.
