National Player of Week

Matt Mogere – Central Lakes College, Minn.
Strong Safety – Monticello, Minn.

In a 53-7 thumping of Vermilion, Mogere personally scored more points than
the Raiders defense gave up. Intercepting two passes, the sophomore took them
back – 45 and 80 yards respectively – for touchdowns. Mogere also recorded three
tackles and deflected a pass. The No. 17 Raiders and Mogere close out their
regular season Saturday at Ridgewater.
