Marketplace presence

Central Lakes College is participating in the April 13 and 14 Marketplace Show (aka Commerce & Industry Show) at the Brainerd Area Civic Center. Staff are helping to man the prominent booth located at the entrance to this Chamber of Commerce-orchestrated event. The CLC Horticulture program has been getting rave reviews for decorating not only the area around our booth but also the “Avenue of Nature” that has been incorporated into this year’s showcase for businesses and organizations. What appear to be entire birch trees as well as greenery and plantings of fresh spring bouquets have added a splash of natural splendor to this event. Thank you to the Hort instructors and students and to our great CLC staff people who have put in time to share their knowledge of the college and help distribute materials to those who stop to chat. We’ll probably do it again next year!
