Spotlight on Health

A nationally-renowned doctor and professor of rheumatology and internal medicine
will be a featured speaker as part of the Spotlight on Health series presented
by the Center for Lifelong Learning at Central Lakes College. “Spotlight on Health: Arthritis – Most Common Types and
Treatment” will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 in Room E203 at
Central Lakes College – Brainerd Campus. Arthur L. Weaver, MD, MS, clinical professor of medicine
emeritus in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Nebraska Medical
Center, Omaha, will discuss the symptoms, signs and treatment of rheumatoid
arthritis, osteoarthritis and gout. Dr. Weaver will also make time for general
questions from the audience but will not address questions regarding a specific
individual’s health problems, as these are best answered by the individual’s
personal physician. Cost: $5 for non-members or free
for those with a Center for Lifelong Learning membership. To register for this
event, call Bev at 218-855-8118. For information on The Center for Lifelong Learning,
