CLC improves win streak to five in a 33 point blowout in Hibbing

By: Osirus Washington

CLC looks to be firing on all cylinders, getting hot at the right time leading up to the tournament. Their duo at the four spot, Timothy Boyd and Lamontrell Fuller, looks to be one of the best in the nation. “Having two players of the same caliber at the same position just makes us that much more dangerous,” said Fuller when asked about how it is sharing time with Boyd. This speaks volumes of Fuller’s character and his unselfishness.

Boyd may be the Raiders best all around player. He is a triple-double waiting to happen every night. Fuller scored 15 points on 6-8 shooting. The Raiders atrocious defense held Hibbing to just 59 points in the game. Hibbing shot just 35% from the field while CLC shot 61%. Keonte Jenkins scored a game high 23 points. Jenkins and Fuller were the only Raiders to score in double figures, but each Raider pitched in their fair share of help towards the victory.

The Raiders next test may be their biggest yet. CLC will face Northland Wednesday night in Brainerd. The two are top of the division, so look for a great show. Get out and support your Raiders.
