CLC holding 4th annual 5K for Mental Health Awareness

The community is invited to attend the 4th annual 5K for Mental Health Awareness, happening Saturday, April 26 at 9 a.m. at the college’s Brainerd campus. There is also a one-mile walk option.

The 5K for Mental Health Awareness, co-hosted by Central Lakes College and Crow Wing Energized, aims to highlight the importance of mental health in the community. Proceeds will support the Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen and the Central Lakes College Food Pantry.

The race begins and ends at the CLC Brainerd campus and features a community resource fair, showcasing local mental health support and services. This initiative fosters awareness while providing tangible support to those in need.

Race awards will start at about 10am. Awards go to top male, top female and the overall nonbinary racer. All participants will receive a finisher sticker to commemorate participation.
