Prepare for an evening of laughter as comedian Ali Sultan takes the stage at the Chalberg Theatre at Central Lakes College on Friday, January 24 at 7 p.m. Sultan is presented by the Central Lakes College Performing Arts Center as part of their Cultural Arts Series, which brings regional, national, and international artists to the Brainerd lakes area.
Hailing from Yemen and now residing in Minnesota, Sultan has become a rising star in the comedy world, blending his unique cultural perspective with everyday experiences to create a truly original comedic voice. His groundbreaking career includes making history as the first Yemeni American comedian to appear on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and receiving acclaim for his stand-up specials on platforms like Comedy Central Arabia and Showtime.
In addition to his television appearances, Sultan has entertained audiences at prestigious festivals like the New York Arab American Comedy Festival and the Dubai Comedy Festival. His relatable humor and engaging stage presence have earned him fans across the globe.
