Additional spring break extension

Dear CLC Students,

The situation with COVID-19 is changing rapidly. As we seek to respond to these changes in a manner that supports every member of the Central Lakes College community, we will continue to provide you with updates.

In light of  the Governor’s announcement that Minnesota public schools will close until at least March 27th and our continued commitment to ensuring that classes resume with a quality plan in place, we are updating the guidance that we provided last Friday:

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities have suspended classes for an additional week. For CLC, this extends break through 3/29. During this time, students will remain on spring break, and no instruction will occur (including online classes). This will allow our students with families time to adapt to implications of public school closure and our faculty additional time to determine how best to resume classes on 3/30 in alternate formats.

We realize that the dynamic nature of this situation creates uncertainty and many questions. Rest assured that we are committed to the health and safety of all members of the college community and will continue to work through details and keep you updated. Please send questions and comments to covid19@clcmn.edu.

Sincerely,

Dr. Hara Charlier

President, Central Lakes College
