CLC’s Mary Sam selected to serve on NJCAA Equity & Inclusion Council

Mary Sam, Dean of Students, Equity and Inclusion at Central Lakes College, was selected to serve on the National Junior College Athletic Association Equity & Inclusion Council.

“This role will help lift up the need for training and development to ensure NJCAA and partner colleges are working to reflect the student athletes that we serve on a national and local level,” Sam said. “It will also prepare the NJCAA and partner colleges to work with cultural humility, support student athlete and academic success, and establish a work plan to better support women in sports.”
