CLC students place in Women in Welding Competition

Three Central Lakes College welding students placed in the Women in Welding Competition held recently in St. Cloud.

Chandra Bruno, Kelsey Saba, of Brainerd, and Jolleen Schneider, of Little Falls, all competed in: (SMAW) shielded metal arc welding, also know as stick welding, (GMAW) gas metal arc welding, also know as wire feed welding, (GTAW) gas tungsten arc welding, also know as tig welding, and then (OFC) oxy-fuel cutting.

GMAW: Chandra Bruno, Second place

SMAW: Kelsey Saba, Third place

OFC: Chandra Bruno, First place; Jolleen Schneider, Third place
