Central Lakes Wind Symphony and Jazz Orchestra looking for musicians

Calling all musicians in central Minnesota! You are invited to join the Central Lakes Wind Symphony and Central Lakes Jazz Orchestra at Central Lakes College.

“It’s time to strike up the band once again or dust off your horn or percussion bag,” said director Jonathan Laflamme. “Life is too short not to make great symphonic wind music! There is nothing to do better than this on Monday nights. Please help ‘shake the trees’ as there are musicians everywhere in central Minnesota.”

The first rehearsal of the Central Lakes Wind Symphony spring season is at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25 in the CLC Rehearsal Hall.  This group will tour Europe (Spain, France, Italy) by land and sea next season and the preparation starts now.

The Central Lakes Jazz Orchestra spring season starts at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb.25 in the Rehearsal Hall. Those who play trumpet, trombone, saxophone, clarinet, drum set, electric guitar, bass guitar and piano are encouraged to join.
