CLC Foundation announces fall scholarship recipients

The Central Lakes College Foundation recently announced scholarship recipients for fall 2018. More than 350 scholarships were awarded, totaling over $185,000. A similar amount will be awarded for spring semester.

“We are so fortunate to live in a giving community that prioritizes scholarships for our students,” said Jana Shogren, Director of Resource Development & Central Lakes College Foundation. “We often hear from students that scholarships alleviate stress and make a huge difference in their ability to focus on school. Students also feel so special that someone who doesn’t even know them is willing to invest in heir education.”

The CLC Foundation is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Over that time, the Foundation has awarded nearly $6 million dollars to CLC students through scholarships. To learn more about donating to the CLC Foundation or establishing a scholarship fund of your own, contact Shogren at 218-855-8129.
