Central Lakes College Medical Assistant student Jill Clark won one of three $1,000 Minnesota Society of Medical Assistants scholarships for 2018. Clark, of Pillager, is only the fourth CLC student to receive one of these scholarships. She will be recognized at the Minnesota Society of Medical Assistants Spring Conference in April in Morton, Minn.
“Jill is an excellent student, both in her academics and practical skills. She is dependable, self-motivated and conscientious in everything she does. She is respectful to her peers, as well as staff and faculty at the college,” said Dawn Verdon, Medical Assistant Program director and instructor at CLC. “I have no doubt that Jill will be a successful medical assistant wherever she works. She demonstrates a high level of professionalism and maintains high ethical standards.”
