The deadline has been extended to March 1 to give to the Raider Athletics Capital Campaign.
Central Lakes College recently launched the Raider Athletics Capital Campaign with a goal to raise $220,000 in order to provide student athletes with the best possible opportunities. The project scope includes:
- To renovate the press box and add a training room at our football field.
- Improve the dugouts at the baseball and softball fields.
- Implement much needed updates at the indoor facility.
Commitments from CLC, the Foundation, Raider Athletics and key community partners have launched the campaign over the halfway point to the big goal.
Central Lakes College’s athletic complex is named in memory of Paul Findorff, a well loved and respected instructor at CLC, who sadly passed away at the young age of 33. To honor his memory, Paul’s family donated the funds to establish the Findorff Athletic Complex. The family has stepped forward, once again, to generously support updates to the complex.
The Findorff family will match each gift to the Raider Athletics Capital Campaign, dollar for dollar, from now until March 1, up to $40,000.
“Raider athletics is critical to CLC’s student life, engagement and community outreach. Our athletes are outstanding students, leaders and community members,” said CLC President Dr. Hara Charlier. “We are very grateful for the generosity of the Findorff family and look forward to the opportunities that this project provides to strengthen our connection to the community.”
With each gift to the Raider Athletics Capital Campaign, you’ll be recognize you publicly and receive some “swag” to help you share your Raider pride!
