Keith Olander, Central Lakes College Dean of Agricultural Studies, Director of the CLC Ag & Energy Center and Director of AgCentric, was awarded the Honorary American FFA Degree by the National FFA Organization.
The National FFA Organization recognizes outstanding individuals who have provided exceptional support of school-based agricultural education and FFA. Olander received the Honorary American FFA Degree for his “outstanding contribution to growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture.”
Olander received his award recently at the 90th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.
“To receive the American Honorary Degree from a premier youth organization like the FFA makes me proud to represent AgCentric as its Director,” Olander said. “The work we have been able to do as a team to support students in their agriculture career pathway is represented by this award that I am privileged to receive.”
