CLC women’s basketball alumni invited to Alumni Game

Catch a preview of the 2017-18 Central Lakes College women’s basketball team at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 28 in an Alumni Game. Any former CLC players are encouraged to participate. Please contact head coach Randy Swanhorst for more information: rswanhorst@clcmn.edu.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming back alumni and will look to make this a tradition,” Swanhorst said. “It’s a chance for our fans to see how we’re coming along and to catch up with some Raider greats.”

Swanhorst took over mid-season last year as the Raiders’ head coach and led the team to a 7-17 overall finish (4-8 in MCAC play). He spent the spring and summer recruiting and is excited to hit the hardwood.

“We are pleased to have a full roster this season after being short-handed last year,” he said. “Our four returning players have laid the foundation and set the bar high for our nine newcomers, all of whom could step in and make an instant impact on the court.”

The Raiders are scheduled to open their season at home on Saturday, Nov. 11 versus Leech Lake Tribal College.
