Job Description

Welcome to S.J. Louis Construction. We are a national construction corporation headquartered just outside of St. Cloud, MN. We provide the unique ability to service both public and private infrastructure customers throughout the U.S. We have hand-built our reputation since 1983 and are recognized as a national leading general contractor specializing in underground utility, tunneling, earthwork and horizontal directional drilling services.
We currently have an excellent job opening for an experienced Shop Manager.
We are seeking an individual with a positive, can-do attitude, a team player who enjoys working with others and problem solving, can bring a superior work ethic and the desire to always continue to learn and grow in their career.

The position responsibilities include:
• Ensuring proper equipment maintenance
• Parts purchasing
• Maintaining all required documentation
• Controlling costs
• Inventory control
• Assist in minimizing any equipment downtime
• Set schedules for shop personnel and monitor their daily activities
Do you meet the requirements we are seeking?
• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment and mechanical background, required
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
• Strong communication skills are required
• Ability to interact with co-workers and vendors in a hands-on and positive manner
