Auditions for Adventure 'N Theatre's production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Saturday, September 11 @ 10 a.m.

Dryden Theatre, CLC Brainerd Campus

Adventure 'N Theatre (also known as A.N.T.) is our young performers troupe. For this musical version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, we're looking for 12 children in grades 3 through 8. Plus 6 performers from 9th grade and above - 3 men and 3 women. To try-out, arrive at the Dryden Theatre at 10 a.m. to sign-up. A song to perform will be provided at auditions. The show will perform in the Dryden Theatre on December 10 and 11, 2010.

Chalberg Theatre make-over!

Central Lakes College now has the go-ahead to start renovation on the Chalberg Theatre which has hosted thousands of performances - college, community, and traveling shows. The Chalberg originally opened in 1972 and is currently undergoing a much needed make-over. Work includes installation of new theater seats, better handicap accessibility, and improvements to the sound and lighting systems. The grand re-opening is schedule for October 2010. Check out news coverage on the Chalberg's final production by watching the Lakeland News video (July 9, 2010) and reading the "Brainerd Daily Dispatch" article (July 1, 2010). In the meantime, CLC's other theater - the Dryden - remains open and will host productions during the fall.

You can purchase your tickets at our Box Office window, over the phone, or NOW online! To make an online purchase, click on www.clctickets.com. There you can setup an account, shop for tickets, choose your seats, and even print your tickets at home.

 

New Theatre degree offered!

The CLC Theatre Department now offers an Associate of Fine Arts (A.F.A.) degree. This 2-year program is intended for students interested in pursuing theatre as a major at a 4-year institution. CLC is partnered with Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, enabling A.F.A. students to transfer into the SMSU theatre department with junior class standing.
