Place your order immediately! You can print your tickets at home and bring them to the theatre the day of the show, or opt to have your tickets held at will call (where you'll be able to pick them up at the Box Office window just before show time). Please let the Box Office know if you have difficulties processing your order; we're happy to answer your questions or walk you through the online process. Some events or offers - such as CLC student tickets (see below) - are not available online. In this case, contact the Box Office directly.

For Fall 2011, the Box Office window will be open Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and 1 hour prior to each showtime. Daytime hours are yet to be determined. During state holidays and campus vacations, the Box Office will usually be closed. Check the updates on the Theatre Home Page For deviations from our regular schedule, see How do I reach the Box Office?

To find the Box Office window is located on the east end of the Brainerd campus. Look for the blue counter just outside the Chalberg Theatre (in the hallway that runs between the gym and the library).

REFUNDS / EXCHANGES

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

No, we do not issue refunds. All payments are final. In the event of campus closing or severe weather, a show may be postponed or cancelled. Only then, exchanges or refunds may be made according to public announcement. To know about last-minute changes, call the Box Office at (218) 855-8199 and listen to our voicemail greeting.

Can I exchange my ticket?

Exchanges depend on each show. We can exchange tickets for productions with multiple performances (usually Theatre Department plays) but cannot make exchanges for “one-night-only” shows (events in the Cultural Arts Series). To exchange your tickets, notify the Box Office 48-hours in advance of show time. Advance notice is needed since exchanges must be processed prior to the day of performance. Your new tickets are released when the canceled tickets are returned to the Box Office. If your tickets are already printed, bring them to the Box Office window when you arrive for the show.

OTHER INFORMATION

Lost tickets

In most cases, we will be able to reprint your tickets at the Box Office, and you'll be able to pick them up at will-call on the day of the show. Contact the Box Office and let us know if you already have a customer profile at www.clctickets.com. If you don’t, we still may be able to find your transaction by searching any of the following: name, credit card (only the last 4 digits), or "record locator" code. (The random 6-letter I.D. printed on any ticket or receipt.)

Children

Our shows are generally for audiences of all ages (5 years old and above), but unless advertised otherwise, infants and toddlers should stay home. This is due to the length and noise-level of most shows. When the show’s content is not appropriate for certain ages, advertising will state as such. When in doubt, ask the Box Office or contact the production's director (if listed). If you choose to bring a child under 5 years old, be aware that admission is charged even if the he or she sits on a parent's lap.

Sold-out shows

When sold-out performances occur, they usually happen on the day of the show! For the latest updates on sell-outs, call the Box Office at (218)855-8199. If we’re closed, our voicemail greeting will list any sold-out shows. Given enough time, our website will list sell-outs, but our voicemail is the most-timely source. If you want tickets to a sold-out show, you still may have a chance with one of these options...

- Rush tickets (for shows with assigned seating)

These represent the remaining empty seats usually located at the back of the house. Only on-sale one hour prior to show time (not available online or over the telephone). No reservations; these tickets are first-come-first-serve at the Box Office window. Expect to pay with cash or check. Due to the last-minute availability, the exact number available is not known before the show date, and seat locations may not be grouped together.

- Waiting-list (for shows with general admission seating)

These seats that might become available at the very last minute and are only available in-person. By signing-up for a wait-list, be prepared to arrive at the Box Office window early. At 10 minutes prior to show time, a staff person will call out names in the order listed and sell available tickets to customers physically present in the lobby. If available, these are usually single seats are scattered throughout the house.
