| Tammy Myran Welcome to our Informational Page! My career with OSP began in the Fall of 2001. It has proven to be an incredibly rewarding position as the work experience and instruction is relevant to student’s everyday lives. Previous experience as an instructor
was gained as a Work Experience Coordinator at Willmar and KMS High
Schools and a Transition Coordinator through Willmar Public Schools
in the Little Crow Educational background includes a Masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Transition and my Bachelors degree is in the area of K-12 Special Education, with Work Experience Coordinator Handicapped Licensure from St. Cloud State University. Before completing my bachelor degree, I completed one year of Human Services Technician training at Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN and worked briefly at the Willmar Regional Treatment Center and 7 years at the Career Assessment Center in Willmar. OSP allows students with disabilities that opportunity to gain further work experience and learn skills needed at the worksite and in the community. Thank you for your interest in the Occupational Skills Program! On a personal note, I am married to my husband Cory and we have one son, John. We share our rural Brainerd home with two dogs. Free time activities that I enjoy include: walking with our dogs, spending time with family and friends, yoga, boating, fishing, swimming and attending music concerts, muscle car shows and collecting Coca Cola paper memorabilia. |
