Concerned about biodiversity, environmental pollution, endangered species and the future quality of human life? Do you want to learn skills needed for assessing, implementing and evaluating land and water practices as part of an integrated environmental management program?

Students in the Natural Resources Program acquire knowledge and develop skills in forestry, fisheries, wildlife, and parks and recreation. Students learn the identification of organisms, methods for collecting and recording data, and resource management principles and techniques.

Courses prepare students for seasonal work in the Natural Resources field. They also help the student earn his/her way toward full-time employment by providing a well-rounded background of course work that can be transferred to a four-year college. These include the University of Minnesota at Crookston, and the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. (Check with advisors about transferability to these or other colleges.)
